Ingredients
4 oz smoked turkey breast, sliced
2 slices sourdough bread (toasted)
1 slice sharp cheddar cheese
2–3 slices fresh tomato
1/2 cup fresh arugula
1 tbsp cranberry spread or mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Lightly toast the sourdough bread slices until golden.
Spread cranberry sauce (or mayo) on one or both slices.
Layer on smoked turkey breast, cheddar cheese, tomato slices, and arugula.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper.
Press the sandwich together, slice in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
Substitute the cranberry spread with Dijon mustard for a tangy twist.
Add avocado slices for extra creaminess.
Use whole wheat bread for a fiber boost.
